Reodolfo, penso che parla inglese meglio
che parlo italiano,
so I'm going to write to you in English
- mi dispiace. My family came to America
from San Salvatore Telesino 80 years
ago. My great grandmother, a Collella,
came from Telese and my great
grandfather, Antonio Mongillo, came from
a nearby town, but no one seems to
remember the name. Given that names, to
some extent, are geographically
distributed in Italy, do you know if
there was a concentration of Mongillos
in a town near Telese approximately 80
years ago? If so, what was the name of
that town? Are there any books that
describe its history?
Thank you in advance for your help.

quanto io
parli italiano, così mi scusi se le scrivo in inglese.
La
mia famiglia venne in America da San Salvatore
Telesino 80 anni fa.

I have received the message and I send
you some information on the family
Mongillo. Our Last name comes down from
some nomadic tribes of the Middle East
that for the great transmigration they
arrived in Italy. In the United States
of America they are around 1250
fetterses with in last name Mongillo
there; in Italy the last name is wide
from Cusano Mutri, to St. Lorenzello,
from Faicchio to St. Savior to
Puglianello with some sporadic family in
Sant'Agata of the Goths. There is a
proper book on the Last name Mongillo.
For the history of the Valley Telesina
there is the embarrassment of the choice.
If then one wanted to purchase my book
PUGLIANELLO, it is begged to send the
precise address and an European
contribution of 15 or 20 dollars.Keep us
in contact.
Good-bye

Ho
trasmigrazione arrivò in Italia.
Negli Stati Uniti d'America vi sono 1250 ceppi
dal cognome Mongillo; in Italia il cognome
Mongillo è frequente a Cusano Mutri, a San
Lorenzello, a Faicchio, a San Salvatore, a
